Development of the Consumer Map

The development of the consumer map created: To get the initial rout at first i traced over a goggle map route. The route was pre-selected but in rider to gat the best and most reliable layout i thought this would be essential. 

The first attempt of trying to make the design without the actual map turned out to be quite basic and not well structured. I missed out streets and vital sections of the route: So i decided to create the route in detail. 

 The final route: Leeds Hyde Park to Leeds City centre: 

As i documented the roads i also started to add in places of consumption and advertising. 

A key was vital to my designs as it allowed me to use shapes and symbols as a visual for my results. This created organisation within the document.
