Ted Baker - Point of Sale Research

Point of sale :

- register
- desk
- poster
- tags
- lookbook
- frames
- gift card

By researching into different Tags, posters, lookbooks and gift cards we have developed a style that we think would benifit the ted baker development. The designs came from diffenret inspirations, but settlling on a colour was quite a difficult decision.

Gift Cards:

Simple and logo effective with bold colour backdrop. Processes such as foiling could be effective.

Ted Baker - Pattern design - image illustration of a backdrop. Works well to be traditional and slight colours to bring to teh table.

Hand rendered illustration works well to appeal to all customers.

The illustartive deisgn above works best. The hand rendered aspect and traditional backdrop really branches out to the ted baker brief.

Gift Tags:

Simple illustration on the end of tags - brown paper background but i dont think the design is effective. It doesnt invite you into the deisgn.

These gift tags I feel work well as a print aspect. The variation of pattern looks visually pleasing and the home made approach works well. Added quatlites uch as the string and hand drawn image adds a unique touch.

I feel that a personal approach to the gift tag design looks super friendsly and feels like Ted would be speaking / giving the gift to you indivudually. This highliht customer relationship and works well.

Reciepts:

Adding a bright background colour may work for reverse but takes away the reciept layout exepience.

Applying pattern to the reciepts could work well symblically. The overlay of colour can work but it might look too much on teh receipt.

Changing scales / sizes / colour and formats.
I feel that the first design works best. It allows room for the vital information but the middle design workds well as it spaces out the receipt through spaces and lines.
