ISTD - Past entries

  • The brief was to create something to show the wonderful world of Fakery on the basis of Typography

This is a Handbook on Fakery, educating the reader on how to be fake on certain occasions with added humour and little elements of misleading.

    ISTD 2011 (Fakery)
  • Awarded membership to ISTD (International Society of Typographic Designers).

Based on identity theft for the 2011 ISTD 'fakery' brief, this is the fictional story of a psychiatric patient with dissociative identity disorder (DID). It highlights all of the patients alter personalities, which comes forward during a single session with the patients 'psychiatrist'. The psychiatrist thoughts are also detailed during the story, and were placed in timeline which runs along the bottom of each page. In the end, however, the psychiatrist is revealed to be just another one of the patients alter personalities.

The book was double bound to reveal a full personality analysis at the end. This analysis reveals more about each character/personality, detailing the emotions, traits, and memories, which resulted in their invention.
