It Nice That - DNA CREATIVITY Research

Part of the design brief was to get back to the orginl DNA. The symbol of DNA is classic and the section sof DNA i feel would work well as part of this brief. Taking out lines / bars of seperate colours and arrangling them in shapes and sections like DNA strands could devlop teh concept:

Design Products Inspired by DNA:

This is an example of DNA inspired designs. The use of shape and shape layering works well. The design can be transferred through various products such as lights, bulbs, racks, furniture, glass etc.

This ways of using shape allows for the concepts and ideas to be put across in an non-obvious way.

Creating Patterns:

The DNA example can also be transferred to patter texture and symbols. I like the idea of using pattern as a basis or background for my designs. It could work to devlop sections of posters or application design.

Using illustration to represent the designs is effective. It symbolises the dna of creativity with pencils and art and takes on the represenation of poster and development.

I really like this design. The DNA symbol is abstract and colourful. I believe that this looks more efefctive. The use of illustrating the designs in a lighthearted and more creative / artistic way urges people to look at the poster. 

Using shapes to outline the BASIC features of DNA is unique and it comes across to the target audience.
